This spring Annabel got to work with director Tony Goldwyn while shooting the new Hillary Swank/Sam Rockwell/Minnie Driver movie: Betty Ann Waters.
Remy Bumppo supporters will get to see her this coming season in Les Liasons Dangereuse.
And the film Were the World Mine ( in which she marries Ora Jones) will soon be viewable on DVD, following much success at film fests all over the country.
Soon two "indie" films on which she worked this summer will be ready to preview.
Annabel's Bio
Annabel Armour is an Artistic Associate of Remy Bumppo Theatre Company and has been seen there in Philadelphia Story, Fiction, Mrs. Warren’s Profession, The Best Man, Power, Aren’t We All, Humble Boy, A Delicate Balance, Hidden Laughter, Money, Top Girls, Hapgood, Road to Mecca, and Heartbreakhouse. She most recently played Mrs. Potts at Writers' Theatre in their production of Picnic which was directed by David Cromer. She has participated for three consecutive years in Steppenwolf’s First Look Series, work shopping and premiering new plays by emerging playwrights. Other theatres include: Chicago Shakespeare, Cleveland Playhouse, The Goodman, Victory Gardens, Northlight, Organic-Touchstone, Cincinnati Playhouse, and Ford’s Theatre in D.C. This year Annabel has been honored with an After Dark Award for her performance in Fiction. She is the recipient of Jeff Awards for Angels in America Parts I & II (David Cromer) and After Play (Steve Scott), and After Dark Awards for an entire season (Angels in America, Before My Eyes, and After Play) and for Remy Bumppo’s production of A Delicate Balance. She was last seen on the big screen as Edith The Realtor in The Amityville Horror and will be seen soon in Were The World Mine, at the Chicago International Film Festival. She recently finished filming on the upcoming movie Betty Ann Waters with Hillary Swank, Sam Rockwell and Minnie Driver, directed by Tony Goldwyn.
